Western Australia Maritime Museum Part 1
Hi, h,i my friends.. How are all of you? Are you all doing great and are well?
A cute Kangaroo
So, where is this place located? none other than the Maritime Museum in Perth, Australia. I went to Fremantle to visit this place.
The taxidermy of a kangaroo. Kangaroos are found quite a lot in Perth. I went to a park and saw Kangaroos roaming wild.
A diver's suit from the early days of diving was connected to the main boat.
One of the most exciting things about this museum is that it is home to the rarely seen Megamouth. This is a type of shark that has only been seen 296 times in the world and has existed in the world for more than 36 million years. It's quite a sight to see one in this museum.
The megamouth
Wow. This is the megamouth in person. Wow. A shark from the Jurassic ages is still here today in the flesh.
The view from the front of this case.
The Parry Endeavour
The original is on display here in this museum and in person. Wow. Built in 1979, sailed all over the world and is recorded in The Guinness World Book of Records as longest distance ever sailed continuously by any vessel. (71,023 nautical miles). Jon Sanders was fearless. At this point in time, there were no GPS, and I guess he had to be content with being alone for a long period of time and used the map to navigate around. Wow.
Jon Sanders
Valdura
A little ferry that is the only one preserved small ferry used on the Swan river and in Fremantle Harbour between 1912 and 1967. This ferry was used as a Primary mode of transport during those years.
The Outrigger Canoes
I googled to find out what these are called just to make sure that it is more interesting to read. The canoes are simple boats that are usually used for exploration, fishing, and inter-island travels around the island. The simple yet effective way of getting around.
Thank you very much for reading part 1 of this museum trip. I took so many pictures here.

Interesting museum for learning and discovering information that we may not have known before. They have interesting layout of the boat and diver with old diving suit and the Jon Sanders boat too. The ferry looks miniature from that angle.
Wahh, that's museum is so cool. The megamouth shark is also scary. And it's just amazing that people who visit that place can see it.
