Washing my clothes before heading off

So why am I in the laundry area? I was going to wash my clothes here. After a couple of days of being on vacation, the best thing to do is to have my clothes washed so they smell good again.

I was staying at the Metro Hotel right in the city center. They have a laundry room where you can use your card and scan on the wireless payment machine, and get your clothes washed. They have a laundry machine and another one to dry your clothes. I always do that on vacation. So when I get back to Malaysia, I don't need to wash that many clothes again.

But before heading to the laundry room. I have to show you what the toilet looks like in my room.

Quite clean, but the shampoo and lotion stations do not have working pumps. You press on the pump and nothing comes out, although it is full on the inside.

You can get some laundry soap powder here, but I got mine at the counter.

I get to like washing clothes. Knowing that they smell good later on.
So, after that, we let the machine run. It was time for us to go out.

My wife post here. We were not here to wait for the whole process.

The view from the room. I was about to head out. So I went to the room and gathered some of the stuff to bring out.

We then went out for an hour to let the clothes wash in the machine. One of the places that we wanted to visit was Costco. I went to Costco in Taiwan. I was quite impressed at how big this place was. However, that being said, it was quite unfortunate that you needed a membership to shop here. It wasn't for those who had no residence identification.

I happily brought my huge trolley in. Costco is a place where you can get cheap wholesale prices for bulk purchases. But, we weren't around inside due to not having a member. Then, I looked at the board and the member cost AUD 65 annually.

So, after not being able to visit Costco, it was time for me to go to the nearby Kentucky Fried Chicken that quite strangely had no fried chicken like the ones in Malaysia. Not sure why.
