Train ride to the city

I went to Hong Kong a week ago. This is a backtracking of what I did.

We arrived at Tsing Yi. From the airport to this place, then we had to take another train to Yau Ma Tei station which was where our hotel was located.

This train looks quite new. The convenience of using the train here is that it shows you the location of the different stations that it reaches throughout the city. Constant announcements. So you won't miss any of the station stops.

Hong Kong is one of the safest cities on the planet. So many CCTVs looking at everyone just to make sure that everyone is safe. I felt quite safe while I walked around Hong Kong, even when in crowede areas.

My wife carried her purple luggage. I had to carry two with me. The good thing about staying at the main city area of Kowloon is that the walkways are all flat so you won't need to carry up the stair cases.

Everyone is well-behaved. As the passengers stepped out of the train carriages, everyone waited for their turn to enter the train while the others all walked out orderly but one thing is certain. The stops are quite short so if you want to get on the train, you have to do it fast.

After around half an hour, we were near our hotel located in the Yau Ma Tei area for a week. 7 nights all together.

This hotel is one of the largest in the whole of Hong Kong at 23 m square. A lot bigger than my own Malaysian room.

We were near the city of Hong Kong after close to half an hour. Quite a convienient way to travel around Hong Kong. I already installed the Octopus Tourist app. This is the essential app of Hong Kong that can be used all around the city from using it as MTR tickets, buying stuff around the shops in Hong Kong.
