The reserve park
Good Morning to all my wonderful friends here at Asean Hive. How has your day been? It is yet another Saturday. A week from now, we will be in the month of November 2025. Time flies.
Today, I am going to introduce you to a place that is a forest reserve here in Miri.
Piasau Forest Reserve
One of the best things about living here in Miri is that there are a lot of green spaces for us to visit whenever we want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city.

This building has that Australian inspiration. There are a couple of trails for visitors to visit, and at times, I come here to jog. The air here is fresh due to the low number of cars that pass by this area.

There is also this Interpretation Centre. A bit like a visitor centre to learn more about the protection of wildlife in the forest.

This is a nice pot of plant that I noticed being planted here.

Piasau Nature Reserve
One of the places that you can visit if you come to Miri.

The Piasau Boat Club is nearby. This is one of the spots where family can gather to enjoy a meal, enjoy some family time at the playground, and surf too. But, beware of the crocodiles in the area.

After leaving the Piasau area, I went to the nearby beach area. A quiet spot in Miri where you can head into the wild and enjoy the night. There are people who come here to do some camping with their families and friends.

There is a new bridge that is going to be built in the not-so-distant future to connect this side of the land to the other side. So, the cityscapes is going to change.
Thank you very much for reading this post.
Have a wonderful day.
