The Pinnacles - A hidden gemstone

I drove two hours from Perth city and finally reached the Pinnacles. First of all, it was hot. When I showed my dad these pictures in Malaysia, the first question he asked me was, " You travelled so far to look at rocks?"

That's me here with my camera. I brought a lot of memory cards to Perth. All of the memory cards were full.

The Pinnacles

This area is full of sand and limestone formation formed 25000 to 30000 years ago. The pinnacles is located at Namburg national park.

The view along the highway to here. It is advisable to come here earlier in the day rather than late in the evening in case if the car suddenly breaks down.

The road here is smooth. One thing to be careful is that there may be kangaroos that suddenly hop into the middle of the road. Kudos to the Australian government for maintaining the roads here even if it is far from the city area.

After getting here, the next thing to do is just to pay for the main car entrance. You can drive around the area if you have a four wherl drive. I walked as the car despite being an SUV but I was worried if it got into the sand and got stuck.

The pinnacles here is amazing. The wind blows quite strong and the heat is intense. Cool winds blow around reducing some of the heat.

I spent around an hour and the half here.

Australia is full of natural wonders. If you love nature, this is one of the places that you have to visit.

A cute potrait of an ostrich. This was in the merchandise area of the shop.

Thank you very much for reading this post. After visiting the pinnacles, I went to check out the Sand dunes. Yes, there are sand dunes here, but in a cooler way.

The next place that I was going to visit was the Sand Dunes.

Have a wonderful day ahead.

Wow! Amazing! Nature's artwork sculpted over thousands of years. The Pinnacles feel like you're stepping onto another planet with those ancient formations and sweeping sands. An incredible place!

The place is a wonderful part of nature. I laughed when your father said you travelled that far just to visit the rocks. But to think that these rocks formed thousands of years ago, this is worth the visit and the snaps.
