Driving up here for two hours. Up to Kundasang. This is the highest region in Malaysia. This is where the coolest weather can be found. So, recently there is a new hotel that has just opened a couple of months ago. This hotel is known as

THE BOX

This hotel is made with containers stacked on top another. This hotel is just located beside the main road.

One thing special about the hotels here at Kundasang is that these hotels do not have an air conditioning system. The cooling system is usually from the wind outside which can dip quite low, especially at night. The coolest time is when it rains. Water and low temperature.

I drove my car up here and there are several parking spaces to park here.

The Box Hotel

Mount Kinabalu Park - This hotel is near Mount Kinabalu park where you can hike up the highest mountain in Malaysia. However, that being said, you need to book in advanced.

Be one with nature.

The view of the tall trees and the clouds moving by. Yes, clouds moving by. That's how high this place is located. I wonder how they built everything here. A lot of hotels here at by the slopes of the mountains.

The first room was the room I was staying for a night.

Usually, I don't drive around this area after five as it gets quite dark with minimal street lights. Low visibility. But, one thing I enjoyed while I was there was the view of the cars driving on this road.

It was getting late and my mom and wife started to wear thicker clothes. It was getting cold at night. Freezing.

I enjoyed looking at the view here as it is amazing. Especially, when it rains, you start seeing the trees shake.
