There is one town that is in the middle of Sarawak, and that is the town of Sibu. Sarawak has four major towns and cities: Miri, Sibu, Bintulu, and Kuching. Kuching is the capital of Sarawak.

After a bit of travelling, I arrived at the Bintulu bus terminal. The next bus stop is the Sibu terminal, which is around three hours from here.

Bintulu is a place where lots of huge companies from around Japan, China, and even some Korean companies have set up their operations. This is one of Malaysia's highest GDP per capita at around 50 K USD. Most in Bintulu earn at least around 2 K USD per month.

This bus station used to be quite small but has since been upgraded, and there are lots of shops here too now. So, there is a lot of stuff you can do here before heading to the next destination.

This is a region in Malaysia that many people are not familiar with. There are four main towns or cities that are in Sarawak. There are smaller rural areas too. Miri is next to Brunei and is like a sibling.

I arrived at Bintulu and strolled around, and before leaving for Sibu, I headed to the nearby food stall to order some food.

After ordering food, it was time to head to the bus for another couple of hours' bus ride to the next town.

This was the last particular station that the bus stopped at before heading to Sibu.

The bus ride took around 8 hours. I slept half the whole journey and the seats in the bus were huge so I had a lot of good rest.

After getting off the bus, my uncle came to pick me up from the bus station.

Checked into a hotel here in Sibu.

Quite a nice place to stay, that is quiet. Will be spending a couple of days here. Do you want to see what Sibu looks like?
