Reached Malaysia at midnight
After eating dinner, it was time for me to wait at the airport for a while. It was half an hour before I was about to sit in the airplane and fly back to Malaysia. Reaching Malaysia at around midnight.
Evening flights are great because the weather is cooler, and people are usually calmer as their energy levels drain.
Perth International Airport
There were some police here looking out towards the runway through the clean windows.
Finally, the plane was here. After waiting for a while, it was time to board. Clear skies.
The inside of Batik Air. Different from what I usually see in a cabin. The luggage area is more rounded, and space is limited. AirAsia's plane has more rectangular-shaped storage.
Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1
Close to midnight. We arrived in Kuala Lumpur. Walked down four storeys to the ground floor to wait for Grab, an e-hailing service in Malaysia. This airport is big. Walking takes planning and lots of energy.
We always carry a power ban,k so before boarding the flight back to Kuala Lumpur, we had already fully charged our phones whenever we could. Just in case, we need to get a Grab in situations like this at midnight.
The floor for e-hailing cars is where they wait for passengers
After a while, our car came and we were on a one hour trip towards Kuala Lumpur city centre and to a hotel in Pudu. The area is slightly dark at night. But the hotel is in the center of the city.
We arrived at the Ding Dong hotel
The driver had a bit of a hard time locating this place at this point in time.
From here, I opened my windows, and there she was. TRX building. Looking out at night and it looks like this, I decided not to walk around here. Not worth the risk.
I stayed in Room 107
It has been so many hours since I last showered. I checked out of the hotel in Perth at around 10 a.m., and it was already close to 1 a.m. So, I got myself a hot shower. It was time to sleep and do some more shopping the next day before heading back to Miri .
The next day came.
Such an amazing view of the building. It was morning. Need a bit of getting used to the Malaysian weather, which is hot and humid as compared to the cooler weather in Australia. I spent a week there.
The first thing to do in the morning. Get some food.
Thank you very much for reading this post. Have a wonderful day ahead.

The weather in Perth was perfect for that plane trip. I wonder how long it takes from there to Malaysia since you arrived at almost midnight, or possibly due to the different time zone.
That skyscraper adds to the beautiful morning view.
Hey, @justinparke here. Sorry for the inconvenience, but my family and I arrived in the USA and for several days we were busy getting over jetlag and visiting family. Now I am back to voting and curating, but will be voting at roughly 50% less than normal until I am caught up again. Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope for all to be back to normal within 48 hours.
