Hunting for fish.

Gourami Fish

These are great tank mates to have in any aquarium and are quite friendly too. Recently, I've got a lot of interest in keeping fish in my aquarium. I've been busy creating a little ecosystem for the fish. So, one of the things that I usually do nowadays when I am free is to visit the local aquarium and find some tank mates or plants. Apart from this, I have also been busy with gardening lately—another stress-releasing activity.

The Gourami fish are unique. These fish can breathe atmospheric air and do not necessarily require an oxygen pump.

The above are silver coloured Gouramis. Quite a unique fish.

These Gouramis have red stripes on their body. Fishes are quite a unique species. Seeing them swim around in the aquarium is quite relaxful. Every night, I spend a bit of time sitting there looking into my aquarium.

The catfish

Some fish evolve uniquely. These catfish seem to be able to just hug one another without the need of any movement.

Neon Tetras

I have a different type of tetras at home. These tetras are smaller. On my bucket list of fish to collect. I am building a small aquascape at home. Will be showing that in a future post.

After the aquarium visit, I was out hunting for some stuff for my garden. Some stones for decoration, soil.

I went to the local hardware store and on the second floor is a nicely decorated garden inspired interior design.

There is a nice tree sitting in the middle of the store, creating an amazing garden. At least something different to look at.

After that, I went to the local nursery and saw some Durians. Are you a Durian lover? I am definitely a great fan of Durians. The smell is amazing.

A box of Durian for around RM 25 or around USD 5. Quite the deal. The Durian fruit can take a while to open and leave lots of mess. But if they have already prepared everything in boxes like this. It's definitely worth to get a box. I bought two boxes.

After that, it was time to go to get a bowl of noodles for lunch. A soupy bowl of noodles to warm the belly.

After that, it was time for me to head home.

I want to show you some of the cacti that I have currently at home. If you love gardening, I guess, one of the type of plants you are going to get is the cactus.
