Miri to Kuala Lumpur

Hi. All my wonderful friends. At the time of writing this post, I am currently in Hong Kong and here for a week.

The last time I was here was in 2007. That was close to 20 years ago. That time I went with my dad and sister. This time with my wife. That time I was still in my teens.

I wish that I could bring my parents along but my dad is not able to join now due to some nerve damage on his foot a few years ago and his age.

Christmas Eve.

The weather in Hong Kong is also cold. Winter - The winter here has its peaks. No snow.

Knowing that, I brought my jacket along just in case.

Hong Kong is different from Sarawak. In Miri, I drive everywhere everyday. When I was a lot younger, I have been to Hong Kong alot of times.

One challenge I faced. The luggage weight _ 10kgs.

I had to measure every single luggage in my bag to make sure that it was not over weight. Like its owner.

What are the places to visit in Hong Kong?

Ocean Park, Disneyland , Macao , ShenZhen and may more.

I also brought along my powerbank. After a few days here, it is a necessity. I only get back to the hotel once or not at all.

This post is a post about what Hong Kong is like for a tourist.

Miri airport is due for an upgrade.

There are more than 2.5 million passengers that use this airport to fly off to other places. There is a new airline that is owned by the Sarawak Government is AirBorneo.

My flight was at 6:30 p.m.

Excited and nervous. I went to Perth, Australia in February of this year. Will be sharing a difference between Perth and Hong Kong.

After that, it was time to head into the plane. Been a while since I last boarded an airplane. Gotta release a bit of stress.

And off we go.
I wanted to spend a couple of days to have a rough feeling of what it is like to visit Hong Kong to write a better post about Hong Kong.

Hong Kong now is different from Hong Kong when I was a teenager.
