Kowloon Walled City Park

This is an amazing tour of the exhibit at Kowloon Walled City Park. It takes you back into the past to Kowloon's Walled City.

This place looks professional in a way. It doesn't look as bad as one would think, being inside Kowloon Walled City.

This dentist must have been really busy every day. Given time, society usually tries to function on its own with every single limited resource.

The dentist

They spent a bit of time creating a realistic-looking dental clinic.

The wiring system is used to run through the building's interior. How sometimes chaos can be so unique to look at.

An extremely tangled mass of electrical wiring and cables is intertwined. I wonder how it was trying to fix wiring problems in the whole city.

It looks like someone's kitchen where lots of clay pots are being heated at the same time.

Another shop that is densely packed with various items, including furniture, clothing, and decorative objects.

A small shop lot. These still exist in a different variant in Malaysia.

This business is a small corner with a couple of electrical meter where you can develop your film, do audio recording, and they provide photography services.

The allowed visit time is 20 minutes, and after that, you have to leave. But you can still get as many tickets as you want and visit this area again.

Some historical information and memories of the Walled City residential area. It has been 2 decades since the demolition of this whole walled city.

I wonder how much stuff they actually removed, as a lot of the whole building had lots of illegal structures.

This park is quite nice at the moment. Standing here is surreal. This used to be a whole block of buildings that were demolished.

And so that was our trip here to this park. This place is worth a visit. I also went and visited Wang Fuk apartment buildings, where a fire took place in November of 2025. It is an experience all by itself.
