Hong Kong International airport
Good morning to all my wonderful friends here.
How are you?
Arrived at Hong Kong International Airport at around 5:30 p.m. The first thing I noticed as I looked out the window was that it was slightly dark. Usually, in Malaysia at this time, the sky would be bright, but it is winter in Hong Kong, so the days turn dark quite rapidly.
Then have to wait for the train to the main terminal area.

After a bit of train riding, we were at the immigration section. For Malaysian passports, I can use the biometric scanner. But my wife, who hold a Bruneian passport, had to go to the immigration counter manually.

After clearing immigration, we were out in the atrium.
Christmas vibes. The first thing I saw was the huge Christmas decor in the middle.

All around Hong Kong, they have done a good job of creating wonderful decorations. All well done and done with creativity.

We were searching for the MTR station to head to the city to check into our hotel. Somewhere at Yau Ma Tei.

The huge luggage section of the airport to reclaim luggage.

After collecting our luggage, it was time for us to ride the train to the city. I wanted to make sure that I head in the right direction and asked this nice lady staff for some directions.

The map of the Hong Kong metro that I took a picture of. I asked the MTR staff which train to take to the city.

Heading to the city of Hong Kong. The first thing to do is to check into the hotel at Yau Ma Tei.
I think from my view, the best way to travel to the airport is by bus. You don't need to carry your bag down escalators and change trains along the way. Some of the MTR ground stations are deep inside ground.
