Eating Fish and Chips at Perth International Airport

A couple of hours before the flight, we were a bit hungry. So we wanted to get some food before getting on the airplane. I did not order any in-flight meals. So, got myself the fresh food here first. There were also other passengers here.

Janice, my wife taking a photo here at the restaurant. This place is an open space, so you can see the passengers while you enjoy the food here. The decor here feels like your in a bar with the lights dimmed, but then your at an airport.

Order here. But they only accept cards, and no cash is allowed. Luckily, I had a few cards here.

After the order, I waited for a while and the pizza arrived. Just look at the texture of that pizza. So creamy and thin. This is one big pizza. Worth the money.

We also ordered a plate of fish and chips. There are two slices of fried fish fillet here. The Australians have perfected the art of making these. All the fillets that I had here in Perth have skin that attached firmly to the fillet. Then, when you bite into the fish fillet, it is hot and fresh. You can tell the difference from a fresh fillet and a frozen one.

We ordered a pizza for ourselves. I forgot if this was the Salmon or Bacon pizza. But, it tastes absolutely wonderful. Thick cheesy hand crafted, and stretched pizza.

The chips in the plate of fish and chips looks like they have been sliced by hand. Each of them unqiue in shape and you can see a difference in the size of each slice of fries. We did not manage to finish everything here and we decided to take away some to eat later on in the plane if we felt hungry which we knew we were going to feel.

After the meal, it was time to wait before heading off to the plane and flying to Kuala Lumpur. Reaching Kuala Lumpur close to midnight. Such a thrilling experience so far in Perth. One more day to spend in Kuala Lumpur before heading back to Miri, Sarawak. Back to reality.
