An old house

Good morning my friends, it is another start of the week. We are currently heading into the second week of July. Monday blues. But life still goes on after a weekend of great rest.

Time flies. Today I am going to bring you to a vintage eating places here in Miri. This is a house that is converted into a comfortable restaurant. It is quite popular and many people eat here most of the time.

This place fits into the category of walking to our own kitchen. The modern vibes of many modern places give you that colder more unfriendly feeling. This place feels like your going back home and just enjoying a meal here.

This is what the house looks like. The owners are seniors. They live at the upper floors while the lower floors here is where the customers get to enjoy food.

This house is sitting on a valuable piece of land and can cost at least a million if someone were to buy it at this point of time.

This place is known as Lot 18 after its lot number. You just need to type on google maps ‘Lot 18’ Miri.

And now for the food. This is what is famous here at this place. It has roasted meat added.. This is a bowl of noodles 🍜 in a sour soup. The sourness comes from a type of veggies that has been left to fement for sometime. Mostly, at a lot of restaurants, there are no meat for this dish.

The owner’s vintage truck sits here at the parking area. Orange in colour. He uses this car to go to the deep parts of the jungles of Borneo.

This place is quite popular for its roasted meat and many customers who come here to eat come for that.
