A ride back from Sibu to Miri.

Good morning, all my friends, how are all of you?

It is another beautiful Monday morning..

So, where am I at the moment? At a bus station in Sibu, heading back to Miri.

This is the Sibu bus station here. Sibu is in the center of Sarawak. The next district that Sibu reaches by bus is Bintulu. Bintulu is the industrial hub of Sarawak. There are many international companies operating there.

My dad and wife are sitting there waiting for the bus.

This bus was quite comfortable. The air con is good and the seats wide enough for me to sleep all the way there.

There are many buses to choose from. There is a bus all the time, so no need to buy any tickets in advance and rush to the bus station. Usually, most just come here and get their ticket.

Got on the bus and I was on my way to Bintulu.

After a while, we reached this rest area that is around one and a half hours from Sibu. If you're riding on a bus in Sarawak, these buses usually stop after a while of driving to let everyone have a short toilet break or eat some food.

This is one of the rest areas that the buses stop at, and it is open for 24 hours. There are buses that drive at night too, as some passengers prefer getting on the bus at night, as the weather is cooler.

Finally, after a while, I reached Bintulu. I was waiting for my little sister to pick me up from the bus station.

She brought us to this restaurant called Welcome Restaurant.

And so reached Bintulu to meet my sister. She has been living here for a long time.
