Heritage Cultural cafe serves local authentic Sarawakian food. Ocassionally, they have performances here from Djs to local traditional dances.

Still early and there were'nt many customers there yet. I wanted to try out some of the Sarawakian Traditional food.

These are traditional Sarawakian food

I ordered Nasi Lemak. My wife was still busy choosing what she wanted to eat. The best time of the day at times is dinner. Relaxful time. Then, we get to enjoy the night.

My Nasi Lemak arrived

The way they fried the chicken is different from the conventional method. The fried chicken is marinated with a special sauce that gives it a slightly crunchier texture. The flavors burst out as soon as it enters into the mouth.

My wife ordered this

That is one big piece of chicken. The special feature of this rice is that it is fried with local veggies. That is why the veggies look slightly green.

Our dishes

We were hungry. The coffee behind wasn't accidentally spilt. It was their speciality. I ordered a jumbo glass cup that I shared with my wife.

The atmosphere here is definitely amazing. Quite comfortable. The lights were not too bright.

Locally made handicraft. Sarawak still has a lot of locally made handicraft.

These are quite durable and last for a lifetime. The locals are good with their craft work.

The Heritage cafe also provides tours to deep jungle areas of Sarawak.
