A night well spent at Tsim Tsa Tsui

The first day in Hong Kong has been great. I walked all the way from Yau Ma Tei, another district all the way to Tsim Tsa Tsui. The weather has been freezing. Not at the ice level, but cold.

So, my wife and I weren't able to withstand it, especially with the cold wind blowing.

The other thing was that we were a couple of blocks away from our hotel.

I reached the Avenue of Stars without knowing it.

This is a famous place in Hong Kong, located at the waterfront, that is where a lot of movie stars have had their handprints cemented. There were lots of peopl,e so I could not really see whose hand prints each belonged to.

AVENUE OF THE STARS

Hong Kong cinema has been here for a long time. This industry also has produced lots of world wide box office hits.

The Science Museum of Hong Kong

I did not visit here. Maybe in the future.

On the outside of the museum, the display of LED projection mapping. This looks just like a smaller version of the Las Vegas sphere in the US.

In front of the Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong.

The Harbour View of Hong Kong is amazing. There were so many people walking around this area.

I wanted to take nicer photos of this whole harbour view but I wasn't able to. Still need to work on my night photography skils.

A photo of the Peninsula Hotel using the Insta360 Go Ultra. I use this action camera about 90 percent of the time while I travel. Easy to carry. I have two memory cards, each of 128 gb and 8 hours of footage combined. Another 256 gb that captures 8 hours of footage. Lots of gear to carry around. I did not bring my laptop. Too heavy. I also had to calculate the precise weight that the airlines allowed.

I brought a couple of cameras to Hong Kong just to make sure that I was able to get as much good photos as I can. This camera has been doing wonders.

I have a mirrorless Sony Camera, a Canon DSLR camera, an Insta360 Go Ultra, and my iPhone 13.

This picture, I wanted to capture the taxis in front of the hotel. In Hong Kong, these red taxis are iconic.

We walked around till we could not bear it anymore and headed back to the hotel. We went underground.

The best shelter from the cold.

I wanted to screenshot this location so in the future, if I look back, I know where I went.

It was time to head back to the hotel.

It was around 9:30 p.m. Time to have a rest. It has been a long day. Day 1 is amazing. Hong Kong lived up to my expectations. I am definitely going to come back again in the future.

Thank you very much.

Have a great day ahead.
