A little bit late to Kuala Lumpur

Boarding the plane at around 630pm.

Flying is fun. Planned for the last couple of months and it was time to fly. My flight from Miri is scheduled to fly at 6:10 p.m. But it delayed.

How are you? This is my second post on my trip from Malaysia to Hong Kong.

Got in my seat in the plane. I was ready to fly.

This time I flew with Batik Airlines.

Got a seat with my wife next to the wings☺️. My favourite view. You can hear the engine.

Around close to three hours had passed.

Slowly it was getting dark. I looked out the window and it was landing time.

Landed at KLIA terminal 1. The last time I came here to Kuala Lumpur was in February 2025.

The flight to Kuala Lumpur arrived slightly late.

For Malaysians nowadays, it is quite convinient to travel dosmetically. The biometric machine scans the face and matches it with the information in the passport. No immigration officer needed. I tried that in Hong Kong and it works too for Malaysian passport holders.

After that I went to the baggage claim area to pick up my luggage.

Kuala Lumpur International airport is huge and you have to arrive there around three hours before flight just to make sure you get your luggage checked in, boarding pass printed.

10 p.m.
Many passengers still waited for their cars. It was Christmas eve so there were so many passengers here.

I guess I was going to arrive late to the hotel. The hotel I stayed in was near the airport for convenience of travel.

I was waiting for my car to head to the hotel.
