A happy day

Why is today such a happy day for me? Well, I had Indian food. Occasionally, I have Indian food here in Miri, and I love eating Indian food. Today, I went to this new Indian Restaurant here in Miri. We had just gone for a walk and done some exercise, so we were hungry. Wanted to get some food. So, we decided to go to an Indian restaurant at the Marina Times Square area in Miri.

So, what shall I have here on the menu?

While we waited for our food, my wife was sipping on her favourite drink from Chagee, which is next to this Indian restaurant. Since it is also her birthday month, Chagee gave her a free birthday pin.

It is already 6:04 p.m. Time for dinner.

This is not your ordinary Indian restaurant. This place spells high class. It is clean and the chairs have PU leather coverings.

Flavours of India

I need these flavours. Usually, I get some dhal with the Roti. The logo is LED and it is colourful. Simple shop logo, yet memorable. This restaurant is located in the new business districts here in Miri.

The Menu

Restoran Al-Fatih Hasan

The first impression is the menu. How well everything is presented, and the effort taken in designing the menu. The other feature of this restaurant is the cleanliness. I noticed how immaculate this whole place is. It gives the customers the impression that the food is also made with clean hands.

On the menu, it states that there are 365 different types of rotis. A roti a day and after 365 days later, then only you would have tried everything they have here on their menu.

One piece of hand crafted roti here on this plate. It takes years to get to this level of expertise.

I also ordered myself a cup of teh tarik or pulled milk tea.

There are lots of bubbles from the pulling of the tea. The bubbles and air makes this drink better. Best served hot.

This is what I ordered. A plate of flooded Roti with two eggs, their yolks still intact. The yolk, when you break i,t is going to sip into the roti and adds extra flavours. Yummy. Delicious.

I usually wait for a while before I enjoy this roti letting the flavours from the curry get absorbed into the roti. I usually leave the yolks behind and eat them last.

My wife got this birthday pin from Chagee as it is her birthday month. She had to order a cup of drink and get this pin for free.

It is colourful and has a butterfly. A nice pin to keep. One more next year.

Doesn't that look delicious. I guess, if you were here, you would be ordering one for yourself too.

A wonderful meal here. The best thing is that the price for the food here is affordable. The last time I checked my wallet, there was no hole inside. At some other restaurants, at times, I can feel my wallet get thinner.

That sounds a great meal! Roti with eggs and teh tarik is is such a comforting combo. Glad you found a nice, clean restaurant to enjoy.
