How Hive Taught Me Crypto, Blogging and How Not to Be Broke.

Before I joined Hive I used to think making money online was either for tech geniuses, social media influencers or people who had some mysterious digital skill that I didn’t understand.

I had heard about cryptocurrency but didn’t know how it worked, and I definitely didn’t think I could be a part of it. My daily internet routine was simple scrolling through social media, laughing at memes, watching random videos and occasionally posting something that would probably disappear into the internet void It was fun but it wasn’t adding anything to my life except entertainment, Then I discovered Hive At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect I saw people posting engaging with each other and actually making money from their content It felt a little too good to be true, How could people be earning just by writing, commenting and interacting But instead of overthinking I decided to jump in and see for myself I created my account, introduced myself and started exploring That was the beginning of a journey that completely changed how I saw the internet, content creation, and even money, One of the first things Hive taught me was cryptocurrency Before Hive, the only thing I knew about crypto was that Bitcoin existed and that its price kept going up and down I had no idea how blockchains worked, what decentralization meant or how people actually made money with cryptonBut as I started reading posts and engaging in discussions I slowly began to understand I learned about different tokens, how transactions worked and even how to use crypto exchanges I went from being someone who thought crypto was too complicated to someone who could comfortably use and manage digital assets.

Hive also introduced me to the world of blogging Writing was something I enjoyed, but I never really saw it as something that could have value On Hive, I realized that my thoughts, experiences, and knowledge no matter how small it could be appreciated by others, I started sharing my ideas, engaging with other writers and improving my content. The best part was that I wasn’t just writing for fun I was earning from it The rewards weren’t always massive but they added up and for the first time I saw the internet as a place where I could actually make something for myself instead of just consuming content all day, And then there’s the financial part, Before Hive I had no real way of making money online. I knew people were doing it, but I didn’t think I could.
