[ENG] Are Bots Good or Bad for Splinterlands?

Hello everyone!

This is a video in Portuguese in which I'll talk about a very controversial, spicy subject that is in vogue at the moment: the usage of bots. After all, using bots in Splinterlands is good or bad for the game?

The truth is that the use of bots has positive and negative points for the game's ecosystem; this is precisely why the community's opinion is so divided on the subject.

Are there positives? Absolutely. Bots inflate the number of active accounts playing the game, making Splinterlands appear at the top of the Rankings of most played NFT games, attracting interest to the game. In addition, bots demand cards and drive the cards' market up.

However, I understand that the negative points are more relevant and prevail. The main problem I see is the worsening quality of the gameplay experience; in other words, the game becomes boring when you end up only playing against bots!

Nesse vídeo, vou falar de um assunto muito polêmico e que está em voga no momento atual: o uso de bots. Afinal, usar bots no Splinterlands é bom ou ruim para o jogo?

A verdade é que a utilização de bots possui pontos positivos e negativos para o ecossistema do jogo; é justamente por essa razão que a opinião da comunidade é tão dividida com relação ao assunto.

Existem pontos positivos? Com certeza. O maior número de contas ativas jogando jogo faz com que o Splinterlands apareça no topo dos Rankings dos jogos NFT mais jogados, atraindo interesse para o game. Além disso, os bots demandam cartas e movimentam o mercado do jogo.

Porém, eu entendo que os pontos negativos são mais relevantes e prevalecem. O principal problema que eu vejo é a piora da qualidade da experiência de gameplay; em outras palavras, o jogo fica chato ao só jogar contra bots!
