My go-to work hack

source
I racked my brain, turning things over and again in my head for some of the hacks but couldn't quite cone up with many. I did come up with one, though. I would be lying if I said that this is one habit that I have always used from time immemorial. No. Actually, it's one I only learned recently from my sister.
I realized that every time she had to go out to buy something, she made a list. Sometimes, I would ask if she could assist with something, and she'd apologize and say her schedule was packed(she always fixed me in any way). I stumbled on one of her many papers and saw a full-blown timetable that included the things she would do for that day and the time alloted to each task. It was incredible, and I had no choice but to give it a try, with the only difference being that I didn't use time stamps. And it's been bliss. There are days I go without the to-do lists, but even that is okay.
I'm implying, in essence, that he one habit that has helped me far too many times and in many ways to improve my day is planning each day. This, I do by, not writing much really, but sorting out everything I would do a certain day. I make use of the checklist option, which is available on the notebook app on my phone, and when I do make the checklist, unlike my sibling, mine contains only the very important tasks. I mean, why would I even include things like to 'sweep the room' 'brush my teeth twice daily minimum' and so on just as she does? I already know what my duties and primary care routines are, and i also know that I have to do them. So mune is differnt.
With these daily checklists, I keep tab easily on how far I have achieved the daily set goals. Far more importantly, it keeps me focused on the things I have to do, helping me stay focused and equally productive.
A popular saying goes that 'he who fails to plan, plans to fail,' and that is simply the logic that i apply and stick to by adhering to these daily lists. I know how very busy i can be and also how lazy and equally nonchanlant i can be at times. Knowing this, it was just importnat that i create something that helps me mange my activities and day so things don't clash and also so that i am able to attend to everything, leavijg no room for spillovers or excuses. Planning is one habit everyone should inculcate. It saves time and energy and increases productivity.
I hope that rhis ww interesting to read. Thanks for coming around.
