Wheels And Serenity - PhotoFeed Contest: Street Photography Round 107

Some days can be filed with funny scenes. Today was one of those days.

As I stepped out of a computer center into the quiet and deserted Georges Street, I beheld a comical sight that left me amused.

Riding on a bicycle in a casual pace, was this man - a florist, whom I had the pleasure of meeting previously at his shop - Garden Man Florist Shop, located around where I was standing.

The street was empty as he was approaching, and It felt like the whole street was cleared just for him to ride by - majestically and carefree.

Now the amusing thing about the scene is that the bicycle size seemed almost small or rather compact compared to his stature. More so, the way he rode leisurely seemed as if he was enjoying the ride and not worried about getting somewhere quickly. I couldn't help but imagine how long it might have taken him to ride from his house to the shop.

Not wanting to miss this moment, I grabbed my phone and took the first snapshot of him.

As he drew closer, I couldn't resist taking another shot. The second photo perfectly captured his peaceful, calm, and untroubled expression, confirming his leisure ride.

On seeing me, he stopped, and we exchanged brief greetings, before I strolled down to the junction, where I boarded a Keke tricycle back to the office.

This scene served as a pleasant reminder to appreciate the humor in everyday situations and the unique personalities that make our communities so vibrant.
