Tranquility
Growing up, I was led to believe that red candles were shrouded in mysticism, and were mainly used for mysterious and unconventional practices. Many stories were told about people or religious groups who burn red candles for spiritual or ritualistic purposes. As a result, people viewed red candles as something ominous, making them seem off-limits. They actually were, for me. Lol.
But as I matured, my view on red candles totally changed. From believing they were mystical, I've come to realize they're not only beautiful pieces of art but also symbolic and versatile – and can be used for various occasions and purposes. Imagine a space beautifully decorated and adorned with red roses and well lit red candles. This would definitely strike you as a romantic atmosphere and not something related to mysticism.
Well, people view things differently, so I'm not here for the fuss of red candles, but rather to appreciate this beautiful piece of art that often create a peaceful, mesmerizing atmosphere.
Not quite long, I needed a lit candle image for my blog post, thankfully I had this red candle stashed somewhere so I quickly brought it out and lighted.
While taking snapshots, I noticed that it's warm glow casted a reflection on the floor. I was surprised and same time excited seeing the reflection, so I took more shots.
I love the way the red wax and yellow flame combined, to create a colorful and enchanting scene - pure tranquility.

It's a beautiful reflection.
But the stories and practice I have seen and heard about lightning red candles and other colours can't be cleared out.
The practice is still valid and this has made some persons not to even think about the beauty that such things have.

Well nothing has changed my mind set about red candles i still believe what I was told from small that is for spiritual purposes still waiting for a conviction just like you, mean while I like how it glows together with the shadow it gives
I knew it wouldn't be easy to forget those scary stories about red candles. 😂

The image is really colourful. First time seeing red candles. It is lovely but that notion of res candles being used for diabolical stuff is still in my head I 😂😂
Remove that notion from your head o and appreciate the beauty of red candles.
