Hello, glad to have you visit my blog. Hope you are doing just great. No matter how tough life gets, just hang in there, and keep hope alive.

"Syl, I'd hoped you'd come with me to the doctor's appointment today, but you blew me off." Judy said, voice laden with hurt.
"But I was busy, Phil said dismissively.
"Really? Now I see how much you care about my welfare", She said bitterly.

This scenerio painted above often plays out in relationships. One of the things that keeps a relationship going is making sacrifices - little or big. We often expect our partners to care deeply and to show up for us in meaningful ways. But when the reverse is the case, we can't help but feel hurt, neglected or frustrated. Next we begin to doubt their love confessions and even question if we truly matter to them. This feeling of neglect can be more painful in relationships where we expect to feel seen, heard, and valued but we don't. I presume no one would want to be in such a relationship, I don't think I can. In fact I won't.
