My Affinity For Color Black.

I always love to talk about colors because nature is colorful. Each color has significant meaning in our lives, various cultures and contexts.

Just like every other color, black evokes distinct emotions like power, mystery, plus grit and professionalism. Little wonder black is another favorite color of mine. Lol.

You know, there are colors and there are versatile colors, and black rank tops on the list. Pair black with any other color and you're good to go. In fact it's a perfect "color blender", if such a word exist. 😅

A powerful color with various symbolism, and often associated with elegance, sophistication, and luxury. Not only that, black can also represent mourning, death, or rebellion.

Popular in the world of art, fashion and design, color black is often used to create contrast and equally add depth and emphasis to a project or composition.

Oh! I feel very confident, stylish and put together whenever I'm dressed in color black, just like in the photos below. Lol.

This photo was taken at a photo lab some years ago, a gift from a friend who owns the studio. It was my first ever birthday photo shoot, and I had a time of my life trying out different poses and styles.
The photo really brought back fond memories.

For the records, my love for color black is strong - my preference for it is non-negotiable. When it's about choosing a color for clothes, shoes or bags, I'll think of black first. At one point, my wardrobe had more of black pieces, and I had to caution myself before my wardrobe turns to a black hole. Lol.

Like this Hive shirt, I waited until color black was available before I could get one. 😂

The thing is that there's just something about color black that often makes my eyes sparkle and plants a radiant smile on my face. You can say that color black is my happy place. ❤️
