Morning Wonder.
This morning, I stumbled upon a fascinating sight in my backyard. I was out to get some vegetables when I noticed an intricately woven spider web hanging above an okra plant.
The web, the shape of letter X with a fluffy white substance at its center was a marvel to behold.
Taking a closer look, I saw the spider, still busy with crafting this masterpiece and I couldn't help but wonder how long it took to create such a fine work of art.
As I gazed at the web, I found myself pondering the absurd - "But how did the spider know about the letter X? "Could it be that these creepy creatures were secretly literate?" I asked. 😂 Well, with nature, everything is possible.
"Such morning wonder needs to be captured in camera", I said to myself. So I hurried back inside to pick up my phone. Coming back, I took the first snapshot.
Zooming, I took another shot, capturing the spider at work.
Noticing my presence, the spider scurried away to safety among the okra plant leaves, but I managed to capture it, as you can see in the images below.
I took another shot of the web.
After that, I went ahead to gather the vegetables, still marveling at the spider's ingenuity and how these tiny creatures can create such wonders.

Spiders are one very creative animals.
I love watching them catch flies and mosquitoes in their webs.
You can say that again.
Many of these insects have been caught up in the spider's web.
