Freezing Moments In Time.
Obikabia junction, Aba, a popular location in my city boasts of some notable landmarks, one of which is a water fountain that features a sculpture of Sir Ururuka (now late), an elder statesman who built the road. This location, amongst many others often spark my photography passion. Well, this spot is where I often pick rides to any other location I intend going.
Here, everyday life provides an endless supply of fascinating scenes to capture. From the vibrant atmosphere, unexpected interactions, to humorous encounters or simply the rhythm of life, this spot never fails to inspire me to capture these moments.
And so it was that I captured these photos showing such moments few days ago as I was waiting to pick a ride home, and I'd love to share them with you.
This photo is everything. Call it captivating, breathtaking, cute, funny or crazy, you won't be wrong. 😅
The target was actually the ice cream vendor, who was looking off into the distance, while holding onto his ice cream truck. It was as if he was having a moment of rest after having walked a long distance in a bid to make sales, or perhaps waiting to make some sales there abs also contemplating on which location to head off to.
However, the appearance of the van from nowhere is the kicker. Talk of photo bombing. Lol. Well, it's a busy location so that's expected.
But, what's interesting about the photo is that the young man perched on the back of the van looked like a sculpture too. I hope my imagination isn't running haywire. Lol.
I'd say that this photo clearly portrays the modern life and static history and I love the outcome. 😍
Another shot.
Seems like the ice cream vendor is done with his moment of contemplation and is ready to head out, confident that he will make more sales.
Wait a minute, did you see what the man that's about to enter the Keke tricycle is holding or is it carrying? I wonder how comfortable he'll be on the ride with that stuff in his hands. Some other person would have requested for it to be tied on the roof of the ride.
Well, different strokes for difference folks. 👌
The End
What do you think about the photos? I'd love to read from you. Thank you.

Welcome 😊
This road or junction is really busy but not as busy as Lagos.
If na Lagos ehn, you will not see a single space on that road. Market women would have flooded there, displaying several wares.
Lovely photos you took sis.
