A Nature Walk And More!

Happy Wednesday community people. Welcome to my blog and to Wednesday where we share our walk adventures.

Actually, work engagements got in the way of my leisure walk today. However, I did have one a few days ago, and that's what I'll be sharing with you.

My walk took me through a farmland path up to the main road, and I captured interesting photos which I hope you'll like. Ah, there's a plus, and that's a video I made too.

So heading out to the scenic route had me passing by an Okra farm where I caught sight of the farmer plucking okra fruits. I stopped by to explore the farm, and also had a chance to chat with him. I shared about my experience in this post. Check it out to stay updated. Thank you.

Moving away from the Okra farm, I stumbled upon this beautiful wildflower blooming among the grasses. The flower looked much like the "Pinkladies" in the "Evening Primrose" family.

Another shot captured my shadow too.

And here's a lush greenery maize farm. The farmer did a great job in tending the farm. Can you see how well the maize plants have thrived? With how they've grown, the next stage would be flowering and then fruiting. I hope to walk this path again by then.

Most of the locals here make use of firewood for cooking, so it won't be out of place to see bunches of firewood heaved - rather packed at some corners in their homes.

As I strolled on, I caught sight of a vintage Volvo 404 vehicle chilling under a garage. Wow! The car looks well maintained as the exterior is still in great shape. I believe the interior would look sharp too.

Moving a little further, another vintage car sitting under a tree, came into view, but this time, a Peugeot 504! I can't recall the number of times I enjoyed a ride in this car during my childhood days. Back then, this car was only owned by the highly placed in the society, especially the government officials and some other citizens

It's really nice to stumble on these classic cars once in a while. Seeing them often evoke feelings of Nostalgia, bringing back memorable events.

Here are more photos I captured on my way.

This goat really gave a nice pose for the shot, hehehe. Goats are funny creatures.

Another farm with maize, cassava and okra planted.

Another farm. It hasn't been long it was cultivated because the crops are still tender.

Young plantain plants.

Here's the farmer, weeding and tending to the crops. I almost missed her. 😅 Well, I stopped for a to share a friendly greeting with her and equally

And the video.

When I got to the main road, I boarded a vehicle to my destination.

It was really a nice, enjoyable brief walk, and I felt refreshed and rejuvenated afterwards.

Thank you for reading.

That sheep looks lost in that photo or maybe it was wondering what you were doing?

Hehehe, it was actually wondering what the hell I was up to, not lost because it was tied to a peg so it can graze. 🤣
