Beautiful Visitor

Hey folks,

What's been up? Today it was another beautiful summer day which turned even more beautiful when I got visited by this majestic creature. He decided to come by and chill on our almond tree to have a few bites before taking off again. I mean after he was done checking me out as I was trying to capture a few shots of his, that is.

I wonder where this mysterious fella came from. You don't usually see these beautiful parrots flying around where I live, but today was a special occasion I guess. I sure let him know he is more than welcome here, and that we will be looking forward to treating him with some fresh almonds again in the future. Not sure if he got my message, but something tells me he will be back for more now that he's found another source of delicious treats.
