Social Media Challenge | Rulesets are important! π€©
This week I brought a Brawl battle, which I just played and where it is very important to pay attention to the rulesets, because no matter if you have strong monsters and summoner the rulesets here are easily able to kill your team. π

Ruleset | Description |
---|---|
Lost Legendaries | Legendary Monsters may not be used in battles. |
Even Stevens | Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles. |
Explosive Weaponry | All Monsters have the Blast ability. |
The mana cap was 50, which is a very good amount to pick up the mosnters that I want and also to try to take advantage of the rulesets. The higher mana cap also helps to ignore the two ruleset, which is limiting the available monster pool. π
While the Lost Legendaries ruleset bans all the Legendary monsters the Even Stevens will remove all the monsters from the battle whose mana cost is Even. Usually these rulesets are quite strong, but luckily the mana cap was high, so I could choose more expensive mosnters as well.
The most important ruleset in this battle is the Explosive Weaponry, which means that all the monsters will have the Blast ability, so they will be able to indirectly damage the monsters next to their target. π
Possibilus the Wise

Possibilus the Wise is one of my favorite and powerful Summoner, because he gives a lot of abilities to my monsters. The first is to increase their Health by two, which comes handy against the indirect Blast damages and the second is to give two ability to his friendly monsters. These abilities are the Reach and Trample, which means that if I use a Melee attack monster in the second position he or she will be able to attack from there. The Trample is also amazing, because if a Melee attack monster manages to kill its target they will get a free attack against the following monster in line. π
Commander Slade

Commander Slade became a very strong and resilient tank of mine, because he has quite a lot of Melee attack and also very high Speed, which will allow him to dodge more incoming Melee and Ranged attacks. On top of that he has a lot of Armor and Health, which will help him to sustain quite a lot of damage. He cost 10 mana, which is crazy expensive, but the mana cap was good to be able to bring him as my tank. π
Coastal Sentry

The Coastal Sentry is expensive, because she cost 10 mana as well just like my Slade. She has 3 Melee attack damage, which wouldn't be so high on its own, but she also has the Double Strike ability, which means that she will be able to attack twice in every round. Luckily the Reach ability from her Summoner will help her a lot, because it will allow her to attack from the second position and taht is why she is my main damage dealer. πͺ
Deeplurker

The Deeplurker is an interesting damage dealer, because apart from his nice amount of Melee attack he also has the Opportunity ability, which means that he will target the lowest Health monster from the enemy team. The Opportunity and Blast abilities are a very powerful combination, because if he is lucky he will be able to deal a huge amount of damage to the enemy backline. π
Shock Tropper

The Shock Trooper cost almost nothing compared to the other monsters and he has huge amount of stats compared to that. The main reason of that is the fact that he has a huge weakness, which means that he will damage all of his friendly monsters fro mthe beginning of the second round onwards. π
Clockwork Aide

The Clockwork Aide doesn't have any attack on its own and the main reason I brought him into this battle is the fact that he has the Swiftness ability, which will increase the Speed of all of his friendly monsters by one. He has only one Health, but a lot of Armor, so he is a perfect monster to sustain a lot of indirect damage from the Blast. π
Edith Emberstar

Edith Emberstar cost eight mana and she is a Ranged attack damage dealer and she is a very good one as well. She has +4 Ranged attack damage and as a Gladiator monster she has the Bloodlust ability, which means if she manages to kill her target she will increase all of her stats by one. π

My opponent brought Helios Matriarch who is a Dragon Summoner and such she will be able to bring any Dragon monster into this battle. She also gives +1 Speed to all of her monsters, which is amazing and also being able to bring one additional Gladiator monster if she wish. π
My opponent also used the Coastal Sentry, but in the tank position, which was a bit problem for him, because my lineup killed her and even the second monster behind her. She is not the strongest as a tank, but a damage dealer. π
Luckily my Deeplurker attacked their Riverboat Captain in the middle of their backline and alost managed to kill him.
In the second round my Slade attacked first and attacking their new tank the Blast damage killed their Riverboat Captain who had only one Health left. π€
My Sentry was the second in line to attack and she managed to kill their Arkemis and by killing him she got a free attack from the Trample ability.
Only one monster left in their team and that was Alfredo who is a weak Ranged attack monster, so my team was able to kill him easily and win this battle for me. π

I liked how you adapted the team to the Explosive Weaponery battle rule. Possibilus and Coastal are always a great combination!
Thank you so much for your upvote and really appreciate your comment! π
I always love to use them and this ruleset as well! π
