Social Media Challenge | It was quite a fierce battle until the end! 😊

This week I brought a Wild Ranked battle, where the mana cap was not that high and all the monsters on the battlefield will take continous damage, so this battle will be a last man standing challenge! 😁

| Ruleset | Description |
|---|---|
| Noxious Fumes | All units have the Poison ability. |
| Holy Protection | All units have the Divine Shield ability. |
| Back to Basics | All units lose all of their abilities. |
The mana cap was 34, which is not that much to setup a proper tactics in order to battle the Noxious Fumes ruleset, because all the monsters will take two Poison damage at the start of their turn, so I would need monsters with high Health or with the Immunity to last longer than my opponent. 😉
Sadly the Back to Basics ruleset will eliminate all the abilities from the monsters on the battlefield, so it will be even more difficult to counter the Poison damage, because abilities such as the Immunity, Cleanse or Rebirth just won't work here. 😜
The Holy Protection ruleset will give the Divine Shield ability to all the monsters on the battlefield, so they will be able to block one full attack from an enemy monster throughout the battle. 🤗

Possibilus the Wise

Usually I use Possibilus the Wise to build a strong front, because he gives a lot of abilities to my monsters. The first is to increase their Health by two, which comes handy against the Noxious Fumes ruleset. The second and third abilities are the Reach and Trample, which means that if I use a Melee attack monster in the second position he or she will be able to attack from there. The Trample is also amazing, because if a Melee attack monster manages to kill its target they will get a free attack against the following monster in line. 😊

Cruel Sethropod

The Cruel Sethropod is a cheap melee attacker who has +2 Melee attack. I used him as my main tank to give some time to my monsters with bigger Health to last longer. The Sethropod has +3 Armor as well, so he will work just fine blocking few incoming attacks. 😉

Igor Darkspear

Igor Darkspear cost only two mana, so he was merely a budget monster with quite a lot of Health compared to his mana cost. He is a Ranged attacker with only one damage, but I expect him to block few attacks from the enemy monsters to give more time to the monsters behind him. 😆

Halfling Refugee

The Halfling Refugee cost only one mana and his stats is amazing compared to that, but he comes with a great weakness, which is his Weary ability and that means he will skip his turn in every round by 10%, which is incrementing in each round by the same chance. Luckily he also lost his abilities, so even this bad one is gone now, so I can use his stats just fine. 😁

Djinn Oshannus

The Djinn Oshannus cost 8 mana, so he is not cheap, but he is an all time favorite thanks to his amazing protective abilities, but not in this battle thanks to the Back to Basics ruleset. He also has decent Magic attack damage, but mainly I used him because he has quite a lot of Health, so he will have higher chance to last unti lthe end of the battle. 😅

Nerissa Tridawn

Without abilities Nerissa Tridawn is a bit better than my Oshannus, because she has +3 Magic attack damage with +10 Health, so she will stay until the end of the battle as well. Hopefully the rest of my monsters will be able to give her more time to deal damage and sustain quite a lot of Poison damage. 😇

Shock Trooper

The Shock Trooper will be my main damage dealer to speed up the process of the Poison damage on the enemy monsters. He has enormous +4 Magic attack damage, but he has only six Health, so he will die pretty quickly, but at least he might able to deal significant damage on some enemy key mosnters. 😊

My opponent brought Immortalis who is an Earth Summoner and he also has three abilites just like my Possibilus. Unfortunately he will decrease the Health of my monsters be one, which is sad and he also gives the Void ability to them as well, which means that his monsters will take only half damage from my Magic attack monsters. He will give the Shatter ability to his monster, so whenever they hit their target they will destroy all of the target Armor. 😤
In the first round my team killed their Fungus Flinger rather quickly, but my team wasted quite a lot of damage on him.
At the beginning of the next round I lost my Cruel Sethropod against the Noxious Fumes ruleset, because the two Poison damage was enough for him to die. 😒
The Void ability on the enemy monsters helped a lot for my opponent monsters to reduce our damage, but at least my Refugee managed to ignore that with his Melee attack and killed the enemy Halfling Refugee in the second round and even got an extra attack using his Trample ability on their Hill Giant. 🤗
Just before the second round finished I also lost my Igor and at the beginning of the third round the Poison killed their Nomad as well.
The Djinn Oshannus was the quickest, so he killed their Hill Giant who had only one Health left after the Poison damage and I also lost my Refugge against their Runemancer Florre. 😏
With the help of the Poison my team managed to kill their Thane Newsong in the fourt round and I also lost our Shock Trooper as well, who was excellent to deal a lot of damage. 😁
Only their Florre and our Oshannus and Nerissa left on the battlefield and the battle between them was quite fierce, because all of them lost a lot of Health. Luckily my Oshannus was way quicker than Florre and with the help of my Nerissa they were able to kill her just before the Poison would have kill everyone. 🤗
