Social Media Challenge | Be careful not to burn till death! 🔥

Overview
Today I brought a Brawl battle, where it is important to win, because if my Guild score a lot of points, which means wins than all the participants will be able to get nice amount of rewards when the Brawl ends. 😁
My upcoming Battle ruleset(s)

| Ruleset | Description |
|---|---|
| Global Warming | All units have the Burning status effect applied at the start of the combat. |
| Fire & Regret | All Monsters have the Return Fire ability. |
| Heavy Metal | You can only summone Armored units. |
The mana cap for my next battle was only 48, which more than enough to bring few or more key monsters into this battle. The Global Warming ruleset will ignite all the monsters on tha battlefield, which will work like the Poison and deal two damage at the end of every round directly against their health. 😊
The Fire & Regret ruleset means that all the mosnters will have the Retutn Fire ability, so if a ranged attack monster will hit their target they will receive two reflected damage back to themselves. It is easy to ignore this ruleset by not using any ranged attack monster.
The Heavy Metal ruleset allows the use only monsters with any amount of armor, so this ruleset will limit the available monster pool 'heavily'. 😇

My lineup
![]() | I picked the Eternan Brute, because he will decrease two armor from my opponent monsters and I might be able to bring an additional Gladiator monsters if I will find another one. 😁 |
| Grum Flameblade is an amazing tank with high health and armor for twn mana, which is not cheap at all. Luckily the mana cap was quite high, so it was barely notcable. He is quite unique, because he has the Bloodlust ability even though he is not a Gladitor monster at all, so whenever he will kill his target he will increase all of his own stats by one. 😊 | ![]() |
![]() | Chimney Wallstop is a real Gladiator monster and such he naturally has the Bloodlust ability just like my Grum. He also has amazing stats and the Reach ability as well, so he will be able to attack from the second position with that. 😉 |
| The Lava Launcher is one of the reason I brought the Fire Splinter, because even though he is expensive with his 9 mana, he is just too perfect for this battle. He has quite a lot of ranged attack damage and huge amount of armor, so it works everywhere at the front or even in my backline. The other reason is his Close Range ability, because he would be able to attack from the first position if it comes to that. 😊 | ![]() |
![]() | The Chaos Evoker cost seven mana, which is quite high compared to her stats, but she has the Blast ability, so whenever she hits her target she will deal one extra damage the the adjacent monsters of her target. She also has the Ambush ability, which will provide her an extra attack, before the battle begins. 🤗 |
| I used the Iidry Fyre to direct most of the damage from the enemy lineup into her, because she has the Taunt ability, which means that all the enemy monsters excepet their tank and their monster with the Reach ability has to attack her. She doesn't have any attack on her own, but she has quite a lot of health and armor. She also has the Redemption ability, which means that whenever she dies she will deal one damage to all the enemy monsters on the battlefield. 😌 | ![]() |

The Battle

My opponent brought the Tarsa who is also a Fire Summoner and her ability is to give +1 health and melee attack to all of her friendly monsters, which is always amazing. she cost only four mana as well, so it is quite cheap to use her and my opponent will have more mana to spend on their monsters. 😇
My opponent also brought a copy of the Iidry Fyre, so all of my monsters had to attack her first starting with my Chaos Evoker who used her Ambush on her in the beginning of the battle.
In the first round not much happened me and my opponent exchange some damage, because all the monsters had some amount of armor on the battlefield thanks to the Heavy Metal ruleset. When the first round finished all the monsters with the Burning effect took two damage to their health.
In the second round their Iidry Fyre died and sadly mine as well, but my one was higher levelled and had the Redemption ability, which allowes her to deal one damage on all of the enemy monsters. Their tank killed my tank right before that, but at least my Chimney Wallstop managed to revenge that by killing their tank and he was able to activate his Bloodlust ability with that kill. 😉
The Burning effect activated at the end of the second round, but none of the monsters died instead they were heavily damaged.
In the third round my Lava Launcher was quicker than their Chimney and managed to kill him just before he would kill my tank and in the same round my team was able to quickly kill their last two remaining monster. 🤗

Battle Result

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy was to divert some of the enemy damage into my Iidry Fyre, which worked as expected and allowed the rest of my team to kill their Iidry quicker than I lost mine. This helped a lot to gain advantage over my opponent in every round, which allowed me to win this battle. 😇
