Social Media Challenge | Battle of the 'Little Ones'! π
This week I brought a Guild battle, which is quite important in order to get some crunchy points to beat the enemy Guilds and to get a nice rewards. Usually I like these kind of battles, because it allows me to use one Gladiator monster, whom are one of the strongest monsters in the game, but the low mana cost will make my decision more difficult what to use. π

Ruleset | Description |
---|---|
Super Sneak | All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability. |
Aimless | All the Ranged and Magic attack monsters will have the Scattershot ability. |
Equalizer | The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health. |
The mana cap was 17, which horrible, because it limits heavily the available monster pool. Usually it is not worth to use one or two higher mana cap monster unless they are really good and lucky, because the more monsters you have the more attack you can block. π
The Equalizer ruleset also helps to pick up more monsters, because all of them will have the same Health matching to the highest Health monster.
The Aimless ruleset will render all the Magic and Ranged attack monsters to attack randomly, which is bad, but the Suepr Sneak ruleset will provide a work around this problem, because if I would use only Melee attack monsters they all of them will attack the last monster from the enemy team. π
Kelya Frendul

Kelya Frendul is an all time favorite Summoner for me, because he is cheap costing only four mana and he provides two stats to all of his monsters, which is to give them +1 Armor (to block one Ranged or Melee attack completely) and +1 Speed for the entire battle (higher chance to evade an attack and to attack quicker). π
Halfling Refugee

The Halfling Refugee Melee attack damage is plus two, which is nice as a tank and compare to his one mana cost. This will allow to him to have a huge drawback, which is his Weary ability, which means that from round one these monsters will have 10% chance to became Exhausted whenever he triggers this ability. As soon as he will be Exhausted he will skip his actual turn. π
Hardy Stonefish

The Hardy Stonefish also cost one mana, which is quite affordable hence I used him as my off-tank, because compared to his mana caost he has quite a lot of Armor and Health, which makes him an excellent off-tank to protect my backline from the incoming enemy Melee attacks. π€
Frost Lion

The Frost Lion cost only two mana, so he is a very good budget monster. On his own he has low Health, but the Equaliser ruleset helps him a lot to increase his Health. He also has Armor and one Melee attack damage, which is perfect combined with the Sneak ability. π€
Scavo Hireling

The Scavo Hireling is the only monster who doesn't have any attack in my team, but in return he has a very important ability, which is the Repair. This means that in every round he would be able to restore some of the lost Armor on one friendly monster. π
Uraeus

The Uraues is an original Sneak attack monster, because he has that ability on his own, but I used him because he cost only three mana and has +2 Melee attack damage. This makes him my main damage dealer for this battle. π
Tide Biter

The Tide Biter will be my second damage dealer as well, because his attack damage is also two, which is perfect with the Sneak ability and together with my Uraues they might be able to get rid of the enemy backline quickly. His Reach ability is useless in this battle, but he will attack anyway and I brought him because of his high attack damage. π

My opponent brought Fithe Bladestone who is a Fire Summoner and one of the new one who has the Bloodline Dominion perk, which means that he will give his two ability to only the monsters who has the origin of a Dwarf. He has two of those monsters, so he will provide them the Void ability and +2 Armor, which is quite good for only four mana. π
The enemy monsters consisted from a lot of Ranged and Magic attack monsters, so they were prone to attack randomly through the entire battle, because of the Aimless ruleset, but my monsters were a Melee attack one, so all of them were attacking the last monster from the enemy team thanks to the Super Sneak ruleset.
In the first round none of the monsters died, because the we all played with budget monsters with low damage and the Equalizer ruleset increased their Health quite a lot. π
Luckily in the second round their last monster was badly damaged, so my team started killing him and just before the round finished they managed to kill my tank as well.
In the third round my team killed their Kha'zi Conjurer who had enourmous Ranged attack damage with a weaknes damaging himself and his team mates, which was a good sign. The enemy monsters weren't able to kill any of my monsters in this round, because all of them was heavily Armored.
The fourth round started with the burn from their dead Conjurer, who put the burning on them, which helped a lot to my monsters to kill their last Ranged monster from their backline.
My tank stood firm in my first position and with the help of the burning curse on the enemies my team managed to kill two of their last remaining monster at once, which allowed me ot win this battle for me and for my guild. π
