Charactober : Day 03 - Glow & Light Motif; Candle Maker

Hello fellow creatives,

I jumped to day 03 prompt got excited with the idea of a candle maker and so here it is I'm happy to share my character I call Melis Cera.

The head is a flaming wick, making the entire being the ultimate flicker in the dark. The body transitions from a bright white wax (the apron) to a deep, dark red/black wax (the body), with a bright, fiery core, echoing the flame palette still. The figure holds a small cat-shaped key, which functions as an anchor.
The texture is the wax drips that coat the shoulders and chest, and the body's melted, columnar look embodies the material of a candle.

The Candle Maker, Melis Cera doesn't light the way with her wax body she uses her devastating glow to expose the terrible secrets and hidden lies the traveler has about themselves. To keep her slow, painful melting from ending, she feeds on the hope and inner goodness of the people she guides. That is kinda dark a character.

I want to make this coherent with my previous character Ignis Ringer both have the same figure and color base

The texture I chose is wax drips and that is on the apron and later on added it on the head to become the hair and the bottom part of the dress

I use the glowing red ember and the cat shaped key for my theme and visual tie as per the cluster motif

Lastly I added a simple background that echoes the deep dark woods
