POBphotocontest STRIPES

The topic for the POBphotocontest by @friendlymoose is great, so I thought of joining. The keyword for this week is "stripes," and I remembered some old pictures on my Instagram that have stripes.

So, I immediately opened my Instagram account and looked for the picture I wanted to submit to the contest.

This is what I chose to enter in the contest, the striped wall design of my room before. Right now, my room is just plain pink since I got married. Hahaha!

But before, I used to always decorate my room, and one of the wall designs I thought of doing was stripes. After painting my wall with the main color, I put masking tape on it to serve as a guide for the stripes pattern I wanted to make. Once the tape was applied, I painted a darker shade and slightly faded it along the edges.

That was back then! When the room was only mine, and I was the only one using it. But when I started getting serious in a relationship and found a partner I knew I'd spend the rest of my life with, my room slowly started to change.

If you've watched The Big Bang Theory, the same thing happened to Leonard when he got into a relationship, his room gradually transformed. Hahaha!!!

I hope you liked the style of my room and the picture I presented. It's not that clear since good cellphone cameras weren't a thing yet when I took this photo. Hahaha!
