POB photocontest - GLASS - Blue Glass Ball

Welcome to my entry post for the POB Photo Contest by @friendlymoose.

The prompt for this contest is Glass.

I really love things made of glass. There's just something beautiful about glass when I look at it, especially tinted glass.

We have a lot of glass items at home, and some are really old, passed down from our ancestors. Not drinking glasses, though, I'm talking about glass figurines and such.

However, I won't be sharing those today because they're blocked by an old piano at home, and I can't get a clear shot since that side of the house doesn't have good lighting.

What I'll share instead are some of the smaller glass items I see around the house and show you my favorite one.

I don't even know what these colorful glasses are exactly. They don’t seem like shot glasses to me, but they’ve been in our house for a while, and I just love their colors.

We also have a small fish bowl, though it doesn’t hold fish—it’s filled with fake ice cubes and crystals that look like glass but are actually plastic.

Sometimes, I keep glass containers with unique shapes, like the one next to the fishbowl, which I’ve filled with pencil shavings.

We also have glass candle holders with cute designs, like the one I'll show you.

But my absolute favorite is this blue glass that looks like a crystal ball. We only have one, and I have no idea what it's for. Maybe my mom has started a side hustle as a fortune teller without telling me! Hahaha!

There are more glass items here at home, but even though I find them beautiful, I’m still scared of glass. We all know how dangerous it can be—once broken, it becomes sharp, and I've had a lot of painful encounters with it in the past.

Always handle glass with care, because it’s fragile and can hurt you when it shatters.
