My Pink Life

Pink? What macho man would post about pink? Of course, me! Hahaha!!!

Pink is the most common color in our house. Everywhere I look, I'm sure to see pink. My old room, which used to be full of machismo without a hint of pink, has been completely transformed. Now, no matter where I look, it's all pink.

The moment I open my eyes, I see pink because our room, door, and cabinets are pink.

If I look around, I'll see my baby girl's things, which are all pink too. If it's not her stuff, then it's probably my wife's pink things that I'll see.

It all started when I fell in love. My wife didn't like the color of my room because it was too masculine. My room used to be black and white, with black furniture and white walls with designs.

My Old Room

When my wife and I moved in together, she didn't like the color of my room because it felt like it was just mine. So, to make the woman I love happy, I changed the room color to pink, along with all the furniture. Hahaha!

Our New Room

The once macho room has now become a princess room.

I'm okay with it, especially now that we have a baby girl. I don't want her to grow up with black as her default color.

Now, I'm so used to pink that even my clothes are influenced by it. Believe it or not, I even have a pink tank top. Hahaha!

Pink doesn't lessen machismo. It just so happens that this color is associated with femininity. But for me, a graphic artist, a color is just a color, and it can be used by any gender.
