Must-Have for Filipinos This Rainy Season
When I do affiliate marketing, I choose items that I know people actually need, not just items I personally want to sell or those that offer high commissions.
I genuinely like sharing useful products that people can benefit from but may not even know exist.
And since the rainy season has started here in the Philippines, I thought of looking for items people might need during this time.
And no, I didn’t think of affiliating umbrellas.
They’re just too easy to find.
The first thing that came to my mind was these rain shoes — they’re perfect for the Philippines.
You wear this over your shoes to protect them from getting wet.

When it rains here, aside from flooding in some areas, water often accumulates on roads, so you're bound to step in puddles that soak your shoes. Not only that, roads get muddy because of all the dust.
That’s why I was happy when I saw these rain shoes. People in the Philippines really need this, office workers and students alike.
Shoes are expensive, and it’s such a waste for them to get ruined by the rain, right? On top of that, if your shoes get wet, your socks will likely get wet too, and then you might end up with athlete’s foot.
These are great because you can just fold them and store them in your bag — unlike regular rain boots. So, no problem.
Another great find is this pocket raincoat.
A lot of us don’t like carrying umbrellas, or don’t even have one, since there's only one or two at home that everyone shares.

This pocket raincoat is a disposable raincoat that you can just put in your pocket since it’s so small. For just 6 pesos, you can get one. It’s not like it rains every day, so you can just use it for emergencies when you don’t want to get your clothes wet — super convenient.
If you're from the Philippines, please consider following my Facebook page, Shopaholic's Guide.
I post great finds there almost every day — items you probably haven’t seen yet.
I also do my best to find products with good ratings and sellers with reliable reviews so that in case of any return issues, buyers won’t have a hard time processing them.
