ONE OF THE BEST TRADITIONAL FILIPINO DISH SERVED IS THE PORK AFRITADA

Hello Food lovers of this community!Hope you're feeling good and fine.Today I would like to share to you one of the best traditional dish I've cooked during the school ground camping.It's called the pork afritada.A meatier and healthier way to cook this dish.

The appearance is so inviting because of its vibrant color.This recipe is easy to prepare because of its ingredients are readily available in the kitchen.
Here are the ingredients used in cooking the pork afritada.
3 kilos of pork(cut into cubes)
1 kilo pork liver( cut into cubes)
3 pieces of potatoes cut into cubes
3 pieces of carrots cut into cubes
3 onions chopped
2 packs of tomato sauce
1 pack of tomato paste
1 piece of cornstarch (dilute in a 1/4 cups of water)
5tablespoons of cooking oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 pieces of knorr pork broth cubes

It takes 1 hour and 30 mins to cooked the recipe.For it has a larger quantities of ingredients and this will be served to mostly 15-20 persons.
Procedures
First In a large pan add the cooking oil.If the pan gets hot.Saute the onion and the garlic

Second :Saute the onion and garlic or until the aroma of it will comes out.Add in the pork and the pork liver.

Third: Seasoned it with salt and pepper.Add a little bit soy sauce.Mix it thoroughly.

Fourth: Cover it and simmer for about 5 minutes until the pork becomes tender.

Fifth:When the meat becomes tender.Check also the pork liver of it's cooked.

Sixth:Add the Tomato Sauce and the tomato paste. Add water and mix.
Seventh:Add in the potato and carrots.

Eighth: Cover and simmer until vegetables are cooked.Add the cornstarch so that sauce will be a bit sticky.

Ninth:Turn off the heat and the sliced red bell pepper. Then cover.
Serve it with rice.
