Hello dear gardeners of this community! How are you doing right now?I hope you're feeling fine..
Today I want to share to you one of the activity in school where in I find it joy to guide the students in cleaning up the garden.
$1
It's our first time to visit again the school garden after the many class suspensions because of the typhoon and earthquake. We cannot imagine how our garden looked like after all the calamities struck in our place. So here we are bringing the hope to revive again our little school garden. The first hour in the morning were being used to clean up the garden..I instructed the students to go out and bring some cleaning materials like sacks, broom and other gardening tools that will be used during the cleaning up.

$1
A lot of weeds were growing in the garden.Empty gallons were disarranged---in short our little garden need so much time before it brought back to normal.

$1
The Spinach or the kangkong was also being outgrown by the weeds so I instructed the students to pull it out. Were planning to replace it some new seedlings once it will be cleared already.

Students were helping one another to clean up our little garden. They were pulling out the weeds, removing all the empty bottles and picking up all the trashes that were found inside the garden.
One of the important gardening activity is to pull it out the weeds, cleared all the distractions that were seen in the area.

I'm so happy and glad that these students of mine were enjoying the garden clean up for today. They're being taught to become a responsible and become a good steward in nurturing the nature.

They're both cooperating and showed some eagerness to help in cleaning up the garden..Extra cautious were being observed during this activity as there were many metals found in the area.

$1
Some parts of the garden were already clean up..And I had only given the students an hour to participate in this activity..Will be seeing again them next week.

$1
Next week I'll be planning to have a seedlings on the different vegetables which were also brought by the students such as spinach, Eggplant, okra and many more.
It's a relief to see that some parts of the area were already cleared out and clean..So we can again plan and decide on what to do next with our little garden.

Hopefully you're enjoying reading my blog today..See you in my next garden journey.

Your school garden story is so inspiring! It’s nice to see the students working together, even after all the Typhoons and earthquakes your area went through.

That’s right, ma’am. It’s a good way for them to learn gardening because most kids these days are lazy and don’t really know much about planting. I’m sure they also enjoyed what they did. The students did very well good job.
