Annual Parents Homeroom Meeting and Collaborative Session for Students Success
Hello@hiveph community how are you doing here.I hope you're doing great and fine.Today I'm gonna share one of the important things I've done in school as a teacher --to conduct regular homeroom meetings together with my parents.
The meeting started with a bright beautiful morning,my grade 7 students who were tasked to do prepare and clean the classroom were done. They let their their parents gathered inside and everyone exchanged a smile greeted and say good morning.

As the school year was about to end, parents were being invited to attend the annual homeroom meeting.

The meeting started with a prayer led by the parent and a short kamustahan to each other was spontaneously done. A lot of concerns will be discussed during the said homeroom meeting.

Agenda were discussed to the parents like year end activities, schedule of the exams and follow up students lacking credentials.

Agendas were clearly discussed one by one to the parents.Including updates of the students performance were also tackled..

Reports about the homeroom projects were also clearly stated, liquidations of the money collected were discussed transparently..

A collaborative session was done to ensure that there's always students succes before the year ends.
I let the parents view the card of the students and discuss to them the strengths and weaknesses of each learners.

Parents with questions regarding the agenda were being answered and entertained. After the open forum,I then proceed to call each parent who's daughter or son's committed some school violations like habitual abscences and tardiness..

And finally I let the parents view the grades, took picture of it and signed the attendance sheet...
Indeed it was a very fruitful and productive day to have meet them all..A beautiful teamwork with parents and teacher is a major factor towards the success of each students..
This would be all for now and see you in my next blog journey.Bye🥰🥰

When I was still a private school teacher, I used to conduct collaborative meetings with parents and with my co-teachers, too, me, being the academic coordinator aside from classroom teacher. It was indeed a happy experience.
I just needed to leave my profession because I felt teaching is really not my calling. But yeah, I adore all teachers. You're so patient and understanding. Kudos to all of you!😇
Ok talaga Pg may regular meeting para ma address ang concern. At ok Sana Kung umaattend lahat. Ako Dati, minsan Lang talaga umaattend SA school meetings😬.
@asiaymalay hehe ganyan na cguro sa public school di 100 percent attendance sa mga parents..
Kaya nga, busy din Kasi minsan😬
