An Event In the School Highlighting The Importance Of One's Tradition and Culture Of Being A Filipino; The Culminating Activity of Buwan Ng Wika or the Language Month
Hello Dear Hivers!Hope you're doing good today. It's almost the end of the month.Thd school decides to have a short but meaningful culminating program.Students in the afternoon were encouraged to witness the said This activity will not only mold the students to become proud of being a Filipino but to also to motivate them to speak the language.
I just want to share the successful activity that happened today in our school.Highlighting the preparation of the event, and during the culminating program.
One of the highlight of the activity of is the making of the bahay kubo or native houses of the different levels from grade 7 to grade 9.
I'm handling grade 7 so my all support will be with them.
Time and effort were unselfishly shared by each student's just to finish the different bahay kuno or the native houses.Their kubo or native houses were made from bamboo leaves, bamboo poles. They're making it beautiful by adding more designs on it.
Each grade level has to plan and decide as to what would be look of their native houses. Each of them has a criteria to meet because it's a contest. The most beautiful and colorful native houses built will be declared as a winner.
The stage is all set ready for the program. It's properly decorated, skirted and is prepared for the big event today.
The colorful banderitas or small flags made the school more attractive to look as it prepares the big activity today. This flaglets were being hung up because of its theme"pista ng anyone" or fiesta of the town.
As the program starts, students showcase their talent regarding spoken poetry, singing and even in dancing.
Each of them showed how important the language or the Wikang (language)Filipino is.Truly, their talent manifest on how each one of them perform their chosen skills.
Students also were dancing of their favorite tunes or music "The Palarong Pambansa".Happy faces were seen and captured during their performance.
Students were enjoying during the performance while dancing their favourite dance.
There are also who performed dancing the traditional Famous costume they worn during the performance was their Filipiniana for girls and Barong Tagalog for boys. This national costume gives symbol and meaning in celebrating the day's activity.
Traditional games were also enjoyed actively by the learners. The game is called"Tyakan" in which the mechanics of the game is being explained before it starts.
This native houses catches my attention,it's being built with cooperation and it uses an indigenous materials. If I were to rate, this Output passed my standard as a teacher and.
Pinoy foods were also displayed in their each native houses or kubo.Foods like kakanin, budbod, suman, bibingka and etc.
Indeed,it's a successful program initiated by the Filipino Department. As it culminates today, let's try to love our own language and be proud that we are born to become a Filipinos.Let's embraced our traditions and rich cultures. We should be thankful to our ancestors who brought handed this tradition to us.
Wika or language it's one of the reason why Filipinos are united.
Let's be proud and take pride in saying "I am a Filipino".

The students are happy too even if they are tired from practicing their dances. It is fun to see everyone enjoying and working together.
Thanks for stopping by..Yeah it's the most awaited event in the school organized every end of month of August.
