A District Meet Held In Our School, Contestants Showcase Their Talents In Sports

Hello everyone! I wanna share to you the things that happened during the district meet in school.Teachers and students came in our school to participate in the said school event.

Different districts from the different schools compete each other in the field of sports, athletics,and dancesport.
Let's have a short trivia about what dancesport is?
Dancesport is a competition of dances specifically ballroom dancing.Both dancers performed the different dances in a choreographed routine.This is being to sport where it needs both dancers the skill, discipline within themselves,the gracefulness and the stamina or energy when dancing.

One of the highlight of the event is the dancesport contest.Dancers from different districts showcase their talents. District meet is being held annually in school.This time its held in our school, because of its big gymnasium.We hosted this year's district meet.
Opening salvo we're done before the start of each contest.

I belong in district 2 where our dancers were also competitive in the field of rumba,Samba,ChaCha and foxtrot.

Dancers were so graceful in dancing the varied type of modern dances.

They show a unique dance moves and steps, energetic and full of enthusiasm while dancing with their partners.

The dancesport contest was held in the gymnasium.There are about ten participants in the different districts competed to each other.

These two couples were so amazing showcasing their dance to the tune of despacito.They were being invited to do the intermission number.
They're both seasoned dancesport dancers at a very young age.They were in their Elementary years.

People applauded them so much for their being good in the different styles of dancing the dancesport.

Teachers and students were full of joy and excitement witnessing the activity of the day.

It's one of the most awaited event of the year.Coaches and Judges prepared this event so much.They trained their athletes and in their dancers well.Giving them the advise and the tips before competing the contest.

Each contestants played fairly.Guidelines during the contest were being discussed before it begins.
Next highlight of the activity is the exhibition of the arnisador.

Arnis or also known as the eskrima is one sport that they've showed during the event.

Arnis is a combative sport wherein each individual is taught the techniques on how to defend themselves.This teaches each player the sportsmanship,confidence to one's self,self awareness .

This sport also promotes physical fitness.This makes ones body fit and right.

We ended the activity in good camaraderie,each player showed sportsmanship,play fairly and above all their teamwork towards each goal.
