Splinterlands Social Media Challenge: End of Season and Guild Brawl

Hello Splinterlands Summoners and welcome to another edition of Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! Another season has ended as we get closer to the release of #ConclaveArcana. I reached Diamond II again this season. My SPS staked was increased to 6,400 as it's price is pumping in anticipation for the release of the new set. We also finished another guild brawl and I bought some Gladius cases to add to my collection.

End of Season Rewards

I have over 130,000 Glints at the end of season which I used to purchase three legendary chests. I'm already satisfied with the levels of my common, rare and epic cards and now I'm building my legendary card collection before Chaos Legion moves to the Wild League.

These are the cards I got from legendary chests.

I was able to upgrade my Warborn Chieftain to level 2. He gains an additional health and the Shield ability.

I also got an Emberguard from advancement chests during the season.

This brings my legendary card collection as follows:

My goal is to level up legendary cards to at least three before I can consider them in my line-up.

Guild Brawl

Right at the end of season, our guild brawl was also finished. Our guild placed seventh scoring 198 points from 66 wins and 102 losses.

My personal contribution in the brawl was five wins out of eight battles for fifteen points. Each of us got a reward of 4,100 Merits and 55 SPS. Not bad for haul though we could have done better.

I have over 7,000 merits which I used to purchase three Gladius cases. Each case contains five cards with one guaranteed rare or higher.

I got fifteen new cards added to my deck although today's pull is not too great. I only have four rare cards with no epic or legendary. My only consolation is I got an Orella Abadon who I'm trying to upgrade to higher levels.

Featured Battle

Today's featured battle was against a member of third placer, Aegis of Glory. The ruleset was Supersneak and Explosive Weaponry. Both of us chose the Fire splinter and both having Fina Voxom in the line up. I also used my new legendary card Emberguard who has the Demoralize ability decreasing the opponent's melee attack by one.

The battle was close and some crucial misses by my opponent tilted the battle in my favor especially my Tenyii Striker dodging my opponent's Fina. My opponent also made a mistake in positioning. He failed to place his no attack unit Iidri Fyre beside his Ferexian Hero. It would have given him an extra attacker in Supersneak ruleset. This was a very important mistake that gave me a big advantage in battle.

Final Thoughts

I had a great season earning a over five hundred SPS and pulling a legendary Emberguard from advancement chests. Our earnings from brawls are also amazing as well as the Gladiator cards I got. I'm preparing for the coming new set Conclave Arcana as the release come closer as we approach May.
