Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: My Conclave Arcana Deck
Hello Splinterlands Summoners and welcome to another edition of Weekly Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge! In less than a week, Chaos Legion will move out of Modern League and be replaced by the new set, Conclave Arcana. @bravetofu kindly shared some card details in this post. Looking at the cards, I can already imagine what I'd want for my deck. For this week, I'll share my desired cards in Fire, Death and Water. Then I'll share my favorite cards in Earth, Life, Dragon and Neutral in the next edition.
Fire
Fithe Bladestone
Fithe Bladestone is a dwarf summoner and necessary to build a deck. He grants two armor to the team which kind of reminds me of Kelya. In addition, he provides the Void ability to dwarves. Now let's see the units.
Blazebeard Merc
Blazebeard merc is an epic dwarf. Being in the same bloodline, he gets the benefit of the Void granted by the summoner. At only three mana, he has a melee attack of five and has three speed. He also has six armor and five health, nice stats for a low mana tank. He has four abilities including Bloodlust, a powerful ability once available only to Gladiator cards.
Portly Cannoneer
Portly Cannoneer is a common dwarf unit. On stats, he has three range damage, three speed and five health. On abilities, I like that he has Inspire which gives an additional attack to melee units.
Cavewise Wayfinder
Cavewise Wayfinder is a common gnome. While he won't benefit from the bloodline ability by the summoner, he already has Void. He needs six mana to field in battle. He is a tank that deals a lot of damage with four melee attack and four speed. He also has four armor and eleven health for sustainability. On the abilities, he has a new negative ability, Reckless where each successful attacks will also hurt his adjacent teammates.
Death
Razi Clanktrap
Razi Clanktrap is a gnome summoner. He grants the Close Range ability to all units and has the new Painforge ability to all gnome units. Painforge grants +1 power when damaged by poison, burning or hit by an ally.
Bristleborn Brigand
Bristleborn Brigand is a common Rodentian. I like it because it only needs two mana that can easily find spots in battle. It deals two ranged damage and has three speed. It also has two armor and six health, a great unit to place in the sixth position to guard against sneak attackers. It also debuffs enemy melee attackers by decreasing their attack by one.
Gonach Excavator
Gonach Excavator is another common Rodentian unit. It's also a low mana unit with great stats. It can deal four melee damage, has four speed, five armor and six health. It has the Sneak ability that can hunt rear enemy units. On the other hand, it also has the Reckless ability that can damage allied units.
Deep Delver
Deep Delver is rare gnome unit so it can take advantage of the bloodline buff by the summoner. It deals four ranged damage and has two speed. It also has one armor and six health. On abilities, it can debuff the enemy by decreasing their armor.
Water
Gorgug the Endless
Gorgug the Endless is an orc summoner. He debuffs the enemy with minus one range damage. On the bloodline ability, he grants Enrage to all orcs in the team.
Steppe Stalker
Steppe Stalker is a common orc unit. It can deal three range damage and has two speed. It also has two armor and eight health. I like this card for a common unit, it has four useful abilities including Close Range making it possible to play in the first position. It also has Shield to decrease melee and ranged attacks.
Tidal Tsunamist
The Tidal Tsunamist is a common tideborn unit. I liked this card when I first saw it. It can deal five melee damage, has four speed and seven hearts. A great unit to place in the rear position because it has the Sneak ability. It can also support the tank with her Repair ability.
Bludgeon Hucker
Bludgeon Hucker is a common ulund card that deals five ranged damage and boasts of three speed. It has one armor and six health. It can debuff the enemy with Slow while providing armor to the team. It's a great versatile card.
Aerial Shieldmaiden
Aerial Shieldmaided is a rare Tortisian. It can deal four ranged damage and has three speed. It has four armor and eight health making it a great unit in the rear position to catch Sneak attackers. It can fly making it useful in Earthquake rulesets.
Conclusion
The above are my desired cards for three splinters so far. These are mostly common and rare cards which will form the backbone of my deck with an additional epic and legendary cards if I can afford them. In the next addition, I'll share the cards that I want in the other splinters.
Thanks for sharing! - @cieliss
