Our Recent Guild Brawl and Featured Battle

Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome back to my blog!
Our guild has just wrapped up another brawl. We continue to improve our rankings in this week's brawl. In today’s post, I’ll be sharing a breakdown of our overall brawl results, my personal contribution, and a battle worth highlighting.
Guild Rank and Performance

We managed to rank in sixth place, an improvement from last week's seventh. We won ninety battles and lost seventy two. We earned ninety four crowns that we can use to improve our guild buildings.

My own stats also improved, winning six battles out of nine and contributed eighteen points to our score. Each of us who joined the brawl earned 4.9k merits and 50 SPS.
Featured Battle

The battle had Counterspell ruleset that discourages use of magic units. However, I already had a team in mind and a unit to counter the ruleset restriction. The battle was also limited to twenty nine mana so I had to prioritize low mana units. I chose the Dragon and Fire splinters led by Kavor Skarn archon. The team was composed of the following units.
Halfling Refugee
He's a one mana card that brings a lot to the table. The Halfing Refugee is a decent tank for only one mana having six health, three speed and three melee attack. He does have a Weary debilitation that sets him back a bit but it's a small price to pay for what he contributes.
Drybone Hobgoblin
A decent four mana card, the Drybone Hobgoblin deals two melee damage and has four speed. It has the Reach ability enabling it to attack with melee from second position. His five health stats makes him a good unit for secondary tank.
Night Reaper
The Night Reaper consumes eleven mana and not really ideal in this battle but I wanted to use a magic unit. It has the Deflect ability that makes it immune to Magic Reflect brought by the Counterspell ruleset. It deals three magic damage and is fast with four speed. It can also play tank with one armor and ten health stats.
Fina Voxom
One of my favorite gladiator cards and is a beast with her offensive abilities. She deals four melee damage and has the Opportunity ability to hunt down enemy low mana units. This combination along with her Bloodlust ability makes her my main offensive card. Her bloodlust ability can trigger multiple times and makes her stats increase as the battle goes on.
Dragon Egg Forager
A perfect partner to Fina, the Dragon Egg Forager also has the Opportunity ability. He can soften the target first and then Fina finishes it. Together, they harass the enemy's low health units in tandem.
The enemy had a good team that included Venka the Vile. It's a decent team with their own offensive threats but my team met the ruleset better. As expected, Fina showed her offensive capabilities and defeated enemy units. As her attack increased, she was able to one shot enemy units leading to their defeat.
