PhotoFeed Contest - Macro Photography - macro of corn flowers

Several corn plants have grown on my plot, and now I am studying the details of its flowering. The pollen in these stamens, located in panicles at the top of the trunk, seems to have all been exhausted. Not a single grain appeared on the black towel that I specially chose for this shoot, and the stamens themselves are not as cheerful as they were yesterday, and this upset me. But the corn has not all bloomed there yet, and it will be possible to repeat everything with fresh stamens and pollen.

I took a lot of photos from two cameras. I changed the exposure, the sun also began to add heat to the colors, sliding towards sunset. You can, of course, reduce the redness here, but I decided to leave it as it is. I like it, it turned out delicious. By the way, today I bought a bag of corn groats, because yesterday's photo shoot has already caused an appetite.

Here, of course, processing with vignetting and highlighting of details is necessary. So far, it all seems imperfect to me. It's just a botanical photo, but it also makes sense. For example, this is the first time I have looked at these "flowers" so closely, and someone may have never seen them at all.

Perhaps I will come back to these photos and do the necessary processing to give the frames an artistic quality, but for now it will all wait here as it has already turned out.
