Hello my dear hivers! Hello to this beautiful community of @hiveph! I hope you are all doing fine right now. This is me again, “LJ” to share another wonderful life story to you all!

Last Friday, our whole family went to Naga City to visit my brother who’s currently doing his internship at one of the hospitals there as part of his medical schooling. He’ll be spending one year in Naga for his internship, and since it has been quite a while since he last came home, we decided to plan a family visit instead. Luckily, he only had a half-day duty at the hospital that day, so it was the perfect time for us to go and spend some quality moments together.

We left in the afternoon and took a mini bus going to Naga City. The fare per person was ₱225., which was reasonable for the distance. However, the traffic along the way was quite heavy, turning what should have been a two-hour ride into a long three-hour trip.

Despite the delay, everyone stayed cheerful and excited. During the ride, we talked, laughed and looked forward to finally seeing my brother again. We also carried several “pasalubongs” for him, some ofhis favorite snacks and homemade food that he really misses from home.

By the time we arrived in Naga, it was already evening. We booked a Grab to take us straight to my brother’s apartment. The moment we arrived, everyone’s faces lit up with joy. My brother looked so happy and surprised when he saw us. It was clear how much he missed being with family. He immediately helped us with our bags and was even more delighted when he saw the “pasalubongs” we brought for him. His eyes lit up as he checked each item, and we all laughed as he said he missed those tastes from home so much.

His apartment was clean, cozy and just the right size, perfect for our family to stay the night. It wasn’t too big, but it felt comfortable and welcoming. After settling in, we spent the evening chatting and catching up. My brother shared some stories about his hospital duties, the challenges of long shift, and the joy he feels when helping patients recover. Hearing his stories made us so proud of how hardworking and dedicated he has become.

Since it was already late, we did not go out anymore. Instead, we stayed in, shared the food we brought, and enjoyed the simple dinner together inside the apartment. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and laughter. We talked about family memories, shared jokes, and took photos to capture the moment.

Before bedtime, we helped my brother arrange the sleeping mats and pillows. Even though the space was modest, it felt perfect, cozy, peaceful and full of love. We all slept there for the night, happy and content to be together again as a family after such a long time apart.

And that’s it for today’s blog! Thank you for reading and I hope to see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us.

Lots of love,
LJ💗
