Simple Treats, Sweet Memories: An Evening Filled with Good Food and Good Vibes!

Hello my dear fellow hivers! Hello to this lovely community of @dailyblog! It’s been a while since I’ve shared some life stories here, so today I will share a simple happenings about my life.

Earlier today, I finally received the items I ordered from “Tiktok shop” and I was really excited to unbox them. I got “Pastil”( a flaked chicken that’s sautéed in soy sauce, garlic, and other spices). It was best placed on top of a serving of steamed rice. I got both the regular and spicy flavor. The timing was just perfect because my other parcel also arrived which was my healthy drinka from “Luxe Beauty”. I ordered their matcha latte and avocado smoothie, and I could not wait to try them out.

For dinner, we decided to eat the pastil together. I added a boiled egg on the side to make it more filling, and of course, I prepared a cup of matcha latte for myself. The aroma was already calming, and the taste was smooth and creamy jut the way I like it! The pastil on the other hand, was delicious and flavorful. My son was so happy while eating! He even said it was really good. Seeing him enjoy our simple dinner made me even more satisfied with my orders. Everything turned out to be worth the wait!

After we finished eating, my son asked if we could go out for a walk by the seawall. He told me there was a “Perya”(funfair and carnival) nearby. Since it was still early and the weather was nice, I agreed. The atmosphere at the seawall was lively. There were bright lights, cheerful music, and the sound of laughter everywhere. It brought back childhood memories of the times I used to visit “Perya” booths with my cousins and friends.

My son was so excited to play, so we tried the “Shooting Ball” game first. We both laughed so much because he kept missing at first, but when he finally hit the target, he jumped in joy. It was such a simple moment, but I could see how happy he was, and that made my heart full. We did not stay too long, just enough to enjoy the fun and the cool night breeze by the sea.

When we got home, I took a quick shower and relaxed for a bit before going to bed. I could not help but think how nice this day turned out to be. I got to enjoy good food, spend quality time with my son, and end the night feeling refreshed and content. These simple things in life were more than enough to make it a memorable day for me and especially for my son.
